Paul Gillis joins China Speakers Bureau
The China Speakers Bureau is happy to announce that Paul Gillis, professor of practice and co-director of the IMBA program at the Guanghua School of Management at Peking University, will join its group of acknowledged speakers on China.
Paul Gillis came to China for PriceWaterhouseCoopers (which had a slightly shorter name then) in the 1990s. As member of the China Executive Team, and in other positions, in one of the Big Four auditing firms, he gained intimate knowledge on how Chinese companies work. As a leading expert on accounting and auditing issues in China, he is often quoted by mainstream media, for example when Chinese listed companies got one after another struck by scandals.
As China is slowly opening up its financial industry, and Chinese companies like Alibaba prepare their IPO, we expect a great demand for Paul as a speaker.
He is publishing in January 2014 a book on the Big Four in China and, with some help of the government, how they struggled with upcoming domestic competitors.
